Declaring – Shaping Your World With God’s Word

‘So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, but it shall accomplish what I please, and it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.’ Isaiah 55:11

‘For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart.’ Hebrews 4:12

‘Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.’ Proverbs 18:21

The Lord has stated that His word will not return to Him void but will accomplish what He pleases. God’s word is alive and active, which means it can move and impact your spirit, soul and body. But if you do not read it, you will not know what is available to you. Beyond reading, you must also speak the word to transform and make an impact in your life.

When we speak God’s word, we shape lives, environments or destinies. So it’s important to know what to say and when. In this study we will look at some of the transformational declarations we should be speaking into our lives. Click here to download the study

Teach Us To Pray

“Once Jesus was in a certain place praying. As he finished, one of his disciples came to him and said, “Lord, teach us to pray, just as John taught his disciples.” Luke 11:1

The disciples of Jesus asked him to teach them to pray the same way John the Baptist taught his disciples to pray which means there’s something about prayer that can be learned. Prayer is an important channel for connecting to divinity which is why the Bible places so much emphasis on it. Jesus Himself said we always ought to pray and not faint. Which means that if we are not praying we are fainting and prayer is like oxygen for a believer.

Since prayer is so vital, we’re trusting that the Holy Spirit will use this to teach us how to pray. What are the elements and principles of prayer? What are the lessons we can learn from the prayer life of Jesus and other key examples in the Bible?

We trust that as we go through the series the Holy Spirit will ignite in us a hunger for prayer and equip us with the capacity to pray. Click here to download the study
