“He is the Rock, His work is perfect; For all His ways are justice, A God of truth and without injustice; Righteous and upright is He.” Deuteronomy 32:4
“Good and upright is the LORD; Therefore, He teaches sinners in the way.” Psalms 25:8
“For the Lord is righteous, he loves justice; the upright will see his face.” Psalm 11:7 NIV
These are just a couple out of a number of verses in the Bible talking about
God’s character. Uprightness is clearly one of the traits used to describe God
and naturally as a Father, He expects His children to bear this trait as well. But
what exactly is uprightness? How can we tell if we’re walking in it and what
should we expect to gain from this?
